The quick answer
Add 28 to your UK dress size to get the EU size, and subtract 4 to get the US size. For example, a UK 12 is an EU 40 and a US 8. In Laven & Ivory letter sizes, a UK 12 is usually an M or L; check bust, waist and hip on our Size & Fit Guide.

How to measure yourself
- Bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist, the narrowest part.
- Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
